YOUTHS ENCOURAGED TO EMBRACE CREATIVE PROGRAMMES FOR SELF EMPOWERMENT
Nigerian Youths are advised to key into creative activities to showcase their talents and become self-employed.
The Project Manager, Arts and Creative industry, British Council Mrs Uju Dubasagbasi stated this at a one day workshop entitled Creative hustle at Sam Nwaneri Events Centre, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria Enugu National Station.
Mrs. Dubasagbasi explained that the aim of the workshop was to educate young
people on how to make a career in the creative industry.
She noted that creativity helped to achieve one’s aspirations in life.
Mrs. Dubasagbasi urged the participants to see creative hustle as a welcomed development that would empower youths in all spheres of life.
In a remark, the Zonal Director Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Enugu National Station, Mr Ike Okere who was one of the speakers at the event described the event as an eye opener that could pave way for youths to become creative.
Some participants in the workshop described it as timely.
The event which attracted youths from all walks of life including secondary school students and some staff members of FRCN Enugu.
