The All Progressive Congress (APC) Abia State says it will provide a level playing ground for all aspirants that will contest various positions during the party’s forthcoming congress in the state.
The Chairman of the party, Chief Donatus Nwankpa, made this known in an interview with journalists shortly after attending the Party’s caucus meeting in Umuahia.
Chief Nwankpa maintained that APC would continue to allow internal democracy to thrive in the scheme of affairs within the party both at the federal and states levels.
Chief Nwankpa noted that APC in the state had adopted President Muhammadu Buhari as its Presidential candidate for 2019 general election.
Also, the leader of the Party in the state and former Governor of Abia State, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu urged Nigerians to rally their support on President Buhari as he was committed towards moving the nation to a greater height.
He explained that President Buhari deserved a second term following his numerous achievements in agriculture, roads and fight against corruption.
