2019 CAMPAIGN: APGA PROMISES EDUCATION, AGRICULTURE, SECURITY AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT.

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) retired Major General John Gbor has promised to liberate Nigerians from hunger and poverty if elected in 2019 general election.

General Gbor made this known during the Presidential and National Assembly campaign kick -off in Awka, Anambra State, with the theme, “Let’s Build a New Nigeria.”

He said he would also liberate Nigerian youths from unemployment and give women their rightful place in the scheme of national affairs.

General Gbor, who holds Doctorate degree in Anthropology, emphasized that education would receive twenty six percent rather than the current seven percent of the total national budget.

In a remark, the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, called on all Nigerians to support the party’s candidates across the country.

He assured the party supporters that the “twenty one over twenty one” victory recorded in the state during the governorship election in 2017 would be replicated at the national level come 2019 general election.

The National Chairman of the Party, Chief Victor Oye said the APGA government if voted into power in 2019 would focus on agriculture, security and youth empowerment in addition to education.

The high point of the event was the presentation of the party’s flags to the Presidential candidate, General Gbor and his Vice Chief Jerry Chukwueke as well as National Assembly candidates.
