ZONE 13 POLICE TO FISH OUT KILLERS OF A POLITICAL APPOINTEE IN ANAMBRA

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 13, Ukpo Anambra State, Danmallam Muhammed has assured members of the public that the zone will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the area remains safe .
In an interview with Newsmen at the Zonal Headquarters, Ukpo, the AIG said efforts were on to fish out those behind the recent murder of the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Security, Mr Azubuike Ekwegbalu in his residence by unknown assailants.
According to him, the police were already on top of the situation and would resort to every possible means including using forensic Detective laboratory to fish out the perpetrators. On the increase in cult activities in Anambra State, the AIG warned that no one including their sponsors would be spared once apprehended .
Mr Muhammed therefore urged members of the public not to be scared over the development as security agencies had already swung into action in order to guarantee safety of lives and property of residents of Anambra , Enugu and Ebonyi States.
Radio Nigeria correspondent reports that the Assistant Inspector General of Police enjoined residents of the three States to always provide security agents with useful information at all times for effective response.
