TWO CHINESE ABDUCTED IN EBONYI STATE
Two Chinese nationals have been kidnapped at a mining site located at Ishiagu in Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. The abducted Chinese were said to be on duty when gunmen invaded their mining site. Confirming the development, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Awosola Awotinde, said Anti Kidnapping Squad of the Command had been deployed to the area to track down the abductors.
The incident comes three days after roads leading in and out of the state were locked down by the state government over Coronavirus pandemic.
