TRADITIONAL RULER CAUTIONS AGAINST MEDIA SECURITY REPORTS AFFECTING DEVPT IN ANAMBRA

The traditional ruler of Ukwulu, in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, Igwe Peter Uyanwa, has expressed confidence in the security architecture put in place by the Soludo-led administration to secure lives and property of the citizens.

The monarch stated this while reacting to the recent hyping of the security situation in some parts of the state, which he claimed was aimed at discouraging prospective visitors and investors.

Igwe Uyanwa, while addressing journalists at Government House Awka, described the rumour as unpatriotic targeted at undermining the good efforts of the the present administration in building a liveable and prosperous state.

He also claimed that Anambra remained the safest state in the country, describing the rumour mongers as enemies of the state bent on truncating its progress.

The monarch further called for collective efforts from the citizens in reporting all criminal activities in their areas to security operatives rather than creating tensions by uploading such on social media.

The traditional ruler further extolled the Soludo led administration for its untiring efforts in creating a peaceful and friendly state.
