Radio Nigeria team of correspondents led by Pamela Igwe and Ndu Nwannah, gathered that there were presence of security personnel in most of the polling units visited .
The electorates also conducted themselves peacefully while casting their votes.
It was also observed that inec adhoc staff arrived early with materials in various places visited.
In an interview shortly after casting his vote at st Peter’s Catholic church, The APC candidate for Anambra south Senatorial zone, senator Andy Ubah has called for the extension of voting time to enable all eligible voters exercise their franchise.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after casting his vote at st Peter’s Catholic church , Uga the senator described the exercise as peaceful and expressed the hope that INEC would improve subsequently on some of the challenges identified.
At Umuchu, our correspondent Uche Ndeke spoke with a smart card reader technician In charge of twelve polling units in the area, Saliyu Isaac said though they experienced hiccups with the machines at the initial stage, it was later resolved and voting continued in Ernest .

One of the PDP stakeholders in Anambra state, chief Godwin Ezeemo shortly after casting his vote observed that there was the need for her extension of the voting time to enable all eligible voters exercise their franchise.
An electorate from Uga, Mr Barrri Dim And Mr ugochukwu Onwunzo from Umuchu expressed worry over some card readers but however agreed that there was an improvement from the elections conducted in the past.
