TEACHERS IN ENUGU TOLD TO ADOPT NEW TEACHING METHOD KNOWN AS CO LEARNERS EDUCATION TO ENHANCE TEACHING AND LEARNING

Teachers in Enugu state urged to adopt new teaching method known as Co-learners Education to enhance the ability of students to understand what has been thought.

The Executive Director, African Thinkers Community of Inquiry, College of Education, Enugu, Mr. Chinedu  Ani made the call at a one day workshop for Primary, Secondary School Teachers and Education Managers in the State. According to Mr. Ani, the workshop is aimed at exposing the teachers on the method of the co-learners centered education in the State.

In an address of welcome, the Provost of the Institution, Mazi Ofoelue Obozuluike stated that the teaching method which is a Co –learner Centered Education Model would expose the learner to a wide range of learning skill.

Also speaking the Enugu State Governor represented by the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Cecilia Ezeilo commended the institution for the workshop, noting that education remained one of the four-point agenda of the administration.
