SWEAR IN ARTHUR UCHENNA OBIORA AS OHANEZE NATIONAL YOUTH WING CHIARMAN, IGBO YOUTHS TELL NNIA NWODO

Ohaneze Ndigbo National Youth Wing has appealed to the President-General of the body to swear in the duly elected youth leader, Dr. Arthur-Uchenna Obiora.

Addressing members in Enugu, a former youth leader of the body, Mr. Chika Nzelu, said the resolution of the Committee set up by the National President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Dr. Nnia Nwodo, to resolve the lingering crisis in the National Youth Wing indicated that the duly elected youth leader should be sworn-in.

Mr. Nzelu said Dr. Arthur-Uchenna Obiora emerged as the winner in the election held on April 20, 2018 against Mr. Tony Uche-Ezekwelu.

Mr. Tony Uche-Ezekwelu, who had been contesting the outcome of the election, noted that withdrawing his petition was a voluntary and unconditional act to restore peace and unity in Ohaneze Ndigbo and Igboland at large.

The elected President of Ohaneze Youth Wing, Dr Arthur Uchenna Obiora applauded his opponent for accepting defeat and promised to be proactive if sworn in.

All the youth leaders in the South-South and South-East States were in attendance at the event.
