POLICE IN ENUGU WARN AGAINST ACTIVITIES OF SOME MISCHIEF MAKERS
The Enugu State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has advised members of the public to be cautious of the activities of some mischief makers who deceive their victims to take them to some public places and end up drugging them through drinks or suya.
According to a statement by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, these criminal elements who pose as passengers trick unsuspecting taxi or tricycle operators into taking them to places such as hotels, supermarkets or drinking joints and thereafter disappear with their cars or tricycles when the victims become unconscious.
The Command says it is already collaborating with other security agencies to ensure that those behind the act were apprehended and prosecuted.
