NIGERIANS URGED TO ALWAYS REPORT SUSPECTED CORRUPT CASES TO EFCC

Nigerians are advised to sustain the fight against corruption through collaborative efforts.

The Representative of the Zonal Head, South East Zone of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Johnson Oshodi gave the advice in commemoration of this year’s International Anti-Corruption Day in Enugu.

Mr. Oshodi, noted that it was through joint effort that Nigerians could fight for posterity.

In a remark, the Head of Media, Mr. Chris Oluka commended the youths and other relevant organizations for their support in the fight and urged others to always report suspected cases to the commission.

Some stakeholders who took part in the exercise such as the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, ICPC, NYSC, Federal Fire Service, Immigration, the Nigeria Copy Right Commission as well as some commercial banks commended EFCC for its courage.

The road walk passed through the Federal Government College road, Post Primary School Board, NTA, Nkpokiti to Presidential Road through Government House, Okpara Square to Agric Bank Bust Stop and back to EFCC office.

Participants in the road walk carried banners displaying “Walk Against Corruption in Commemoration of World Anti-Corruption Day 2017” and “Together Break the Corruption Chain”.
