MOTIVATE US FOR GREATER OUTPUT – ENUGU WORKERS TELL GOVT.

Workers in Enugu State have advocated motivation and improved working conditions for greater output this year.
Speaking with Radio Nigeria, some of them in Enugu Metropolis while assessing the progress of work one week after resumption, noted that good work environment would not only be a boost but would guarantee job satisfaction.
For Messrs. Geoffrey Eze and Godson Onugo, having resumed on the stipulated date with energy and commitment, a lot was expected from the government this year.
They called for improved welfare package for civil servants.
An employee with a Non-Governmental Organization who pledged anonymity observed that the increase in the pump price of petrol had posed a great challenge to workers, as they had to pay unbudgeted huge sum on transportation.
Another civil servant, Mrs. Abigail Ugwu, urged workers to put in their best, noting that anyone absent from their duty post should have themselves to blame incase of any punitive action against them.
Radio Nigeria observed that as of the time of filing this report, workers were seen dusting and cleaning their offices for the new week.
