MOBILE APP FOR VICTIMS OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE IN PLACE
In a bid to tackle abuse of children and help those who have been abused get justice, a non-governmental organization, has developed a mobile application for children.
The Country Representative of the Group, Mrs. Eunice Pius said the application, “CSE App” would enable children who were sexually exploited to report and get help.
Mrs. Pius who made this known in Abuja, stated that unwillingness by families of victims to report cases of child sexual abuse was a major challenge.
She said every six out of ten girls had been abused and that the organization was out to fight child sexual abuse by assisting victims to get justice.
Earlier, the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Senator Aisha Alhassan said that the Federal Government was evolving new strategies to ensure safe schools in the country.
