LG ELECTIONS IN ENUGU STATE TO HOLD IN FEBRUARY
Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission, ENSIEC has released time table for Local Government Elections in the State. In an interview in Enugu, the ENSIEC Chairman, Dr Mike Ajogwu announced that elections for Chairmanship and Councillorship positions into the seventeen Local Government Councils in the State would hold on 29th February, next year. According to Dr Ajogwu, political party campaigns starts from 5th to 27th February, 2020. He said that timetable for party primary elections should be submitted to ENSIEC from 15th to 22nd January, 2020. He added that 29th and 30th of next month would be for submission of list of candidates for the elections.
