JUSUN SUSPENDS STRIKE IN ANAMBRA
Workers of Anambra State Customary Court of Appeal have called-off their 3 weeks old strike.
The workers under the aegis of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) went on strike over the non refund of their Housing and Pension Fund deductions.
The Chairman of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, Anambra State, Comrade Mark Ifezue made this known while addressing newsmen in Awka.
He said they call-off followed the intervention of critical stakeholders especially the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Peter Umeadi.
Comrade Ifezue Chairman said the Union was satisfied with the assurance and therefore called off the strike to allow the Chief Judge to intervene.
Comrade Ifezue explained that the workers who were back at their duty posts expressed gratitude to Justice Umeadi for his fatherly intervention into the matter.
