INEC ADJOURNS ABIA ELECTION COLLATION UNTIL MONDAY

The collation of the Abia State Governorship election result will continue by 10am on Monday.
The State Returning Officer and Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), Professor Nnenna Oti, announced this Sunday night shortly after the result for Ugwunagbo Local Government Area was announced.
Professor Oti said since no other local government area was ready with their result, the exercise would continue Monday.
So far, results from ten local government areas namely: Isiala-Ngwa North, Isiala Ngwa South, Ukwa East, Ukwa West, Umunneochi, Bende, Arochukwu, Isukwuato, Ugwunagbo and Ikwuano have been announced.
