IMO STATE: FED POLY NEKEDE DONATES SELF FABRICATED HAND-WASHING EQUIPMENT TO THE GOVT

The Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri in Imo State has donated another set of equipment to the State Government to help combat the spread of the Coronavirus disease in the State. 

The equipment, a fully automated hand cleansing machine and semi automated hand washing machine, were received by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Nnamdi Anyaehie. 

Chief Anyaehie thanked the management and staff of the institution for responding boldly to the fight against the prevailing pandemic.

Earlier, the Rector of the polytechnic, the Reverend Michael Arimawa, said the device was part of the institution’s contributions to the state against the deadly virus. 

The Reverend Arimawa stressed that the school would continue to produce more machines and since it was produced and fabricated in the school without external assistance.
