FINALLY MBADINUJU IS LAID TO REST AS SOLUDO JOINS OTHERS TO MOURN

The remains of a former Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Chinwoke Mbadinuju, have been laid to rest in his country house, Uli in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.

At an interdenominational Service held at his compound, Uli, the Reverend Thomas Obiatuegwu, who officiated the burial service, called on the people to reflect and work on their moral life as they sojourn on earth even as he stressed the inevitable nature of death.

At the event, Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, bemoaned the passing on of the former Governor, describing him as a great soul, adding that Anambra State took solace in the fact that he lived a good life and would forever be remembered for making Anambra better than he met it as governor.

Governor Soludo however, recounted that the Late Governor was besieged with a lot of insecurity during his tenure and did. his best to tame the situation.

The first son of the deceased, Mr. Cheta Mbadinuju, thanked the Anambra State government for its assistance before and during the burial and prayed for the repose of their father.

Dignitaries from all walks of life, including the former Governors of Anambra State, Dr. Chris Ngige, Mr Peter Obi, Senator Uche Ekwunife and other top government functionaries graced the event.
