FG INAUGURATES THREE STATE BUILD ROADS IN ABA

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says quality leadership is essential for the development and transformation of any society.

President Tinubu stated this during the inauguration of three strategic roads in Aba, rehabilitated by the Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti.

The roads, which mark the 9th to be rehabilitated in the last eight months in the state include, Queens Street, Jubilee and Omoba Roads.

The President, who was represented by the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shetima, said that the people of Abia State were witnessing democracy dividends under the present administration in the state.

According to the Vice President, the accomplishments of Governor Otti has brought to bear his wealth of experience, intellect and exposure to the development of Abia.

He expressed the hope that many great things would come to the people of the state.

Earlier, Governor Otti explained that the rehabilitation of the roads was aimed at giving the people access to all parts of the state, stressing that the roads were strategic to the development of the state.

The Governor, while noting that the roads were of quality standards and according to contractual specification with street lights, drains and storm water channeled to the Aba River, assured that the roads would stand the test of time.

He thanked the Presidency and people of the state for the support given him since assumption of office as Governor.

Some Senators, members of the House of Representatives, the Minister of Power and other dignitaries witnessed the inauguration.
