ENUGU STATE CJ ASKS MEMBERS OF EASTERN BAR FORUM TO EMBRACE ADR
Members of the legal profession have been reminded of the need to uphold the ethics of the profession. The Enugu State Chief judge, Justice Priscilla Emehelu gave the advice at the Eastern Bar Forum in Enugu.
Justice Emehelu stressed the importance of cordial relationship between lawyers and judges to ensure jurisprudence for the good of the society.
She advised lawyers to acquaint themselves with the law on Alternative Dispute Resolution to enable them to serve the society better.
In a remark, the Governor of Eastern Bar Forum, Mr. Arthur Elvis Chukwu called on members of the legal profession to contribute more towards enthroning corrupt free society.
The Eastern Bar Forum consists of members of the Nigeria Bar Association from the old Eastern region of Nigeria.
