The National Youths Service Corps has introduced biometric clearance system to check truancy and detect corps members who abscond after undergoing orientation exercise.
The Director-General of the Scheme, Brigadier General Suleiman Kazaure stated this when he visited the “Batch A, Stream Two” Corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Eziama- Obaire in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.
