ANOTHER GAS INFERNO IN NNEWI
Barely two weeks after the gas explosion and fire outbreak that had claimed some lives and property in the industrial town of Nnewi, Anambra State, another tale of sadness and woe enveloped the town Monday, when a filling station was gutted by fire in Amuko junction.
Radio Ngeria Corresspondent, Uche Ndeke reports the inferno razed a one story building, as well as some business shops around the petrol station.
It took several hours for personnel from the Anambra State Fire Service station Okpoko, to get to the scene of the incident, as the fire service in Nnewi is yet become operartional.
