ABDUCTED TWO CHINESE IN EBONYI STATE REGAIN FREEDOM

Police in Ebonyi State say the two Chinese abducted by unknown gunmen at a mining site in Ivo Local Government Area of the State have been freed.

A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer in the State explained that the victims whose names were given as Shen Gushen and Mao Ximnim were released unharmed.

According to the statement, they were freed following sustained pressure on their abductors by police operatives.

It further states that the victims have been reunited with their community while manhunt of the bandits is on going.
