RESIDENTS OF ENUGU TOLD TO REPORT IMPROPER SITING OF SEWAGE TANKS
In a swift reaction, after listening to the Human Rights report on Radio Nigeria Enugu yesterday on improper siting of sewage tank in parts of uwani, Enugu which was generating tension among residents, the Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority, ECTDA, covered the septic tank at Number Fifteen Isuochi Street also in the area thereby stopping the ongoing construction.
Acting Director Physical Planning and Development Control in the Authority, Mr Chukwuemeka Okoh stated that the matter needed urgent action to forestall major health disaster in the area.
Reacting, two Residents expressed joy on the development and thanked the ECTDA, for its prompt reaction.
They advised Nigerians to look out for such anomaly in the society and report to appropriate authorities for immediate attention.
