DO NOT ABANDON YOUR STUDIES TO ACT MOVIES – NOLLYWOOD ACTOR ADVISES TALENTED YOUTHS

Youths have been advised against jeopardizing their educational career in the pursuit of talent in acting and film production.

A Nollywood actor, Mr. Chika Anyanwu, gave the advice during the presentation of a film festival entitled “lean on Me,” put together by Galaxy of Stars in Collaboration with Radio Nigeria, Enugu.

Mr. Anyanwu, who gave a talk on, “Youths and Talent Businesses,” expressed worry that some youths both in the secondary and higher institutions of learning abandoned their studies once they discovered that they were talented in certain areas.

In his opinion, combining education with talent development would provide a better chance for an individual to succeed.

Another Nollywood actor and Director Galaxy of Stars, Mr. Chiadikaobi Michael, who presented the drama “Lean on Me” alongside others, which centered on correcting some social ills in the society, said they chose to center their activities on God because He is the only one that could not fail.

Two of the participants in the programme, Mr. Victor Obiezue and Miss Ifeoma Nnamani, said it was worth the while and should be supported by public spirited individuals.

A Controller in the Marketing Department, Radio Nigeria Enugu, Mr. Pius Nduba, who attended the programme, commended the initiators, adding that it deserved to be supported by all.

The event featured music performance, interactive session, including why people get involved in “get rich quick activities.”
