WOMEN & YOUTHS EMPOWERMENT TO REMAIN PRIORITY OF ENUGU STATE GOVT
The Enugu State Governor, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has reiterated his determination to empower women and youths in the area.
Chief Ugwuanyi gave the assurance when the Enugu State Market Women Association paid him a visit.
The Governor promised to continue to assist women in the State and to appoint them into important positions in the government.
The President, Enugu State Market Women Association, Mrs. Esther Ede commended the Governor for his tremendous work in the State and assured him of massive support for his programmes.
In separate remarks, the representatives of the association from Gariki Market, Ogbete Main Market and Orie Agu Udi Market described Chief Ugwuanyi as a performing Governor whose achievements had impacted positively on lives of the people.
