tate Government says it is determined to actualize the Enyimba Industrial City to enhance the economic fortunes of the state.
Governor OkezieIkpeazumade this known at Government House, Umuahia when he received the management of the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority, NEPZA.
Governor Ikpeazu noted that the proposed Enyimba Industrial City was intended to open up the state for investment and patronage of locally made products.
The Governor solicited the support of the Nigeria Export Zone Processing Authority to make the project a huge success.
He lauded the Federal Government for encouraging local manufacturing of goods, saying that the state had put in place machinery for quality control in proposed project, when functional.
General Manager, Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority NEPZA, Mr.BitrusDawuk pledged that the agency would assist the state realize the project in view of the enormous socio economic potential of the project in placing the nation on global map as a key commercial hub.
