FG TRAINS 22 YOUTHS IN AUTOMATIVE TECHNIQUES, EQUIPS THEM

Some youths who benefited from the on-going N-Power Programme of the Federal Government have been advised to make good use of the knowledge gained from the training.

The Director of National Automotive Design and Development Council, Alhaji Jalani Alihu, gave the advice in a message to the passing out of the trainees in the 3 months  Automotive Techniques Training in Enugu.

The Director, who was represented by a staff in the Council, Mrs. Helen Adogamen, said the objective of the programme was to equip the youths with relevant skills.

Alhaji Alihu said the programme was also set up to reduce unemployment among the youths and make them self reliant.

At the event, the Managing Director of Automotive Workshop, Mr. Chibueze Okoro, who trained the 22 youths, said the training had equipped the trainees with requisite knowledge that would help them to establish their own automotive workshops.

Three of the youths who benefited from the training commended the Federal Government for the programme.

The trained youths were later presented with certificates and tool boxes.
