President Bola Tinubu has donated a trailer load of rice to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the South East.

President Tinubu, who made the donation through the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, extended warm greetings to the people of the South East, noting that the current economic challenges would be a thing of the past.

Acknowledging the receipt of the rice, Governor Uzodimma enjoined the church leaders to continue to pray for the president in order to fulfill its policies and programmes to better the country.

“Forget blackmailers, forget propaganda, did you ever even believe that a president who is not a Christian could be sending rice for you and me to celebrate Christmas? I listened to CAN Chairman Imo State, I saw the attribute he returned on me this afternoon, those attribute are even more of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“So the God will serve those not make mistake, the way of God is not the way of Man, so allow God to finish his work because the end will justify the means,” Gov. Uzodimma said.

Earlier, the CAN Chairman Imo State chapter, the Reverend Divine Eches thanked President Tinubu and Imo State Governor for the gift and prayed God to give them strength to pilot the affairs of the country.
