EBONYI GOVT THREATENS TO REVOKE UNDEVELOPED PLOTS IN ABAKALIKI

Ebonyi State Government has again threatened to start the process of revoking any empty and undeveloped plot of land within Abakaliki before the end of January, 2024.

This is part of ways of cubing criminality in the capital city.

The Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Dr. Mathew Nwobashi, gave the warning while interacting with Radio Nigeria on government plans to serve the people of the state well this new year.

Dr. Nwobashi maintained that government was determined to utilize every plot of land judiciously and enjoined owners of government alloted lands in the area from 1996 till date to develope them to avoid revocation.

He alleged that those empty plots serve as hide out space for criminals in Abakaliki the state capital.

Dr. Nwobashi commended the efforts of Governor Francis Nwifuru in human capital development and employed the people of Ebonyi State, especially to reciprocate the gesture by being law abiding.

Dr. Mathew Nwobashi called on stakeholders at all levels to join hands in the developmental stride of the state government to achieve a better and peaceful Ebonyi State.
