GOV OTTI’S WIFE VISITS FIRST BABY OF THE YEAR, PRESENTS GIFTS

The wife of the Abia State Governor, Mrs. Priscillia Otti, has reiterated the need for nursing mothers to always practice exclusive breastfeeding of their babies for at least six months.
Mrs. Otti gave made the remark when she visited the first baby of the year, master Chiziterem Ikechukwu, who was born on January 1, 2024 at 12.02am at Okpulor Health Center in Isialangwa North Local Government Area of the state.
The wife of the Governor while describing babies as special gifts from God, urged parents to always ensure that they bring up their children in the fear of God.
Responding, the mother of the first baby of the year, Mrs. Onyinyechi Ikechukwu, thanked the wife of the Governor for the visit and promised to train the child in a godly way.
The Governor’s wife later presented 500,000.00 cash donation and some baby items to the
parents of the new child.
Mrs. Otti also visited Amachara General Hospital Umuahia and presented cash and babies items to other babies born later in the day.
