82 DIVISION ENDS INTER-BRIGADE COMBAT PROFICIENCY COMPETITION IN ABIA

The General officer Commanding (GOC) 82 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Hassan Dada, has charged officers and men of the Division to always stand brave and have unwavering commitment to their Constitutional responsibilities.

Major General Dada gave the charge at the closing ceremony of the 82 Division Inter-Brigade Combat Proficiency competition held at Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s Barrack 14 Brigade Nigerian Army Ohafia, Abia State.

He stated that the main objective of organizing the competition was to keep close, fit, ready and be able to tackle contemporary challenges facing the country.

The GOC commended other security agencies within the Division for their synergy and collaboration with the army in tackling security challenges and providing conducive environment for Nigerians to live and thrive.

The soldiers participated in Weapon handling and Shooting, Combat Swimming, Map reading and Navigation, Cross country race and obstacle crossing
