LP SWEEPS OHANIVO FED CONSTITUENCY IN EBONYI

Labour Party (LP) Candidate, Mr. Nkenkamma Kama has been declared the winner of Ohaozara, Onitcha and Ivo (OHANIVO) Federal Constituency election conducted in Ebonyi State last Saturday.
Announcing the result at Obiozara, the Headquarters of Ohaozara Local Government Area, the Returning Officer, Mr. Onu Omaka, explained that Mr. Nkama polled 19,921 votes to defeat his closest rival, Mr. Felix Igboke of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who scored 14,231 votes.
The incumbent member representing the Federal Constituency, Chief Livinus Makwe of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) could not scale through as he garnered 7,506 votes to loase his return ticket.
