GOV OTTI SACKS PRESS SECRETARY
REPORTER: PEACE AGBO
Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has sacked his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Kazie Ukoh.
The Governor has already approved the appointment of Mr. Ukoha Njoku as new Chief Press Secretary.
Until his appointment, Mr. Ukoha Njoku is a famous advocate and media manager.
Commissioner for Information and Culture, Prince Okey Kanu announced this while briefing journalists after this week’s Executive Council Meeting, chaired by the Governor.
The Commissioner did not give any reason why Mr. Uko was relieved his duties.
He rather stated that the move was part of Governor Otti’s plan to readjust the media ecosystem of his administration.
The removal of the Mr. Kazie Uko comes barely one week after the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Ngozi Okoronko, was suspended from office over alleged gross official misconduct.
