Governor Otti stated this in Umuahia during a town hall meeting organized for Abia central senatorial zone to mark his one year in office.

He noted that the aim of the town hall meeting was for government to interact with the people and know their challenges as well as proffering solutions to them.

Governor Otti used the forum to enumerate some of the achievements recorded in the last one year by his administration in the state.

They include rehabilitation of some major roads in the state, renovation of some schools in various local government areas, prompt payment of salaries and pensions to Civil servants and pensioners, improvement in the health sector and provision of adequate security.

He assured the people that better days awaited them as his administration is committed towards providing good governance.

Earlier in their separate remarks, the Mayors of the six local government areas in the Abia Central senatorial zone while commending the Governor for his giant strides, used the occasion to point out some of the challenges their local governments were facing and called for government’s support.
