KEY INTO COAS’S COMMAND PHILOSOPHY— ARMY COMMANDER ORDERS SOLDIERS

Officers and Men of the Nigerian Army 14 Brigade Ohafia Abia State have been enjoined to key into the command philosophy of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja.

The vision is to have a trained, equipped and highly motivated soldiers who are ready to discharge their duties in a joint environment with enthusiasm and dedication to the service of the nation.

The new Brigade Commander 14 Brigade Ohafia, Brigadier General Olusola Diya gave the charge at Goodluck Jonathan barrack Ohafia shortly after assuming office as the Brigade Commander.

He urged the Soldiers to always ensure that they carry out their duties in accordance with the laid down rules of the profession.

Brigadier General Diya noted that the Army would continue to work in synergy with other sister security agencies in the fight against insurgency, kidnapping, banditry, oil theft and other crimes in the state.

He also urged the soldiers to maintain discipline and be focused in discharging their duties.

Highlight was the handing over of the Brigade flag from the outgoing commander Brigadier General John Edet to the new commander.
