IMO IS SET FOR UZODIMMA’S 2ND TERM INAUGURATION — EMELUMBA

All is now set for the inauguration of Senator Hope Uzodimma for second tenure in Office as the Governor of Imo State.

Briefing journalists on the preparation for the event, on January 15, 2024, the Imo State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chief Declan Emelumba, said arrangements had been put in place to ensure a hitch free programme.

The Information Commissioner said adequate security measures and management of crowd at the event had been put in place to ensure seamless event.

Chief Emelumba stressed that important dignitaries and visitors from within and out side the state were expected to grace the occasion at Dan Anyiam stadium in Owerri.

He explained that the second tenure inauguration was to celebrate Imo people who, he claimed, voted massively for the Governor and that Imo people should expect more actions and prosperity.

Chief Emelumba said that the Governor had in the last four years touched the lives of the people through massive infrastructure and youth empowerment.

“His Excellency seing in this swearing in as an opportunity to really celebrate Imo people for the love they have shown, very uncommon, they have demonstrated during this election.

“So he wants to use this ceremony to really show to them that he appreciates their love because the Governor touched the lives of imo people in many ways than through infrastructure provision youth empowerment and many other laudable programs,” the Commissioner remarked.
