POLICE VOW TO HUNT DOWN KILLERS OF YPP WARD CHAIRMAN IN ANAMBRA

The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, Mr. Aderemi Adeoye, has vowed that the Command will hunt down and bring to justice killers of the Nanka Ward Chairman of Young Progressive Party (YPP).

The Commissioner, who condemned the killing in strongest terms, described the killers as cowards who had murdered sleep.

In a statement, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga, said Mr. Adeoye insisted that the killers must be definitely arrested and dealt with.

The statement said the CP, explained that the Police Operatives were already working on vital clues to unmask the perpetrators.

It added said the Commissioner of Police had re-assured all law abiding citizens, especially those in Nanka, not to be afraid but to join hands with the police to bring the murderers and their sponsors to justice.
