JOINT SECURITY FORCE RESCUES ABDUCTED US EMBASSY OFFICIALS IN ANAMBRA

Two remaining victims abducted during the attack on United States convoy along Atani- Osamala road in Ogbaru local government area of Anambra state have been rescued.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Echeng Echeng, disclosed this at the Command Headquarters, Amawbia, while giving journalists update on the recent attack of US Embassy convoy, which left seven persons dead.
Mr. Echeng noted that the two victims were rescued in the early hours of Friday, May 19, 2023 by by a Joint Security Force.
He said that two victims were rescued unhurt while operations were still ongoing in the area.
