INEC TO RESUME ABIA GUBER ELECTION COLLATION

The collation of the Abia State Governorship election results is expected to continue Wednesday at 4pm local time.
This was contained in a statement made available to Radio Nigeria by the Head, Voter Education and Publicity (VEP) of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC (INEC) in Abia State, Mrs. Rebecca Jim.
The exercise, which commenced on Sunday morning under the supervision of the State Returning Officer and Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Professor Nnenna Oti, was halted on Monday afternoon following the suspension of collation of results from Obingwa Local Government and review of the results from the area, which was conducted on March 18, 2023.
So far, results from 16 of the 17 local government areas of Abia State have been concluded.
