BE NEUTRAL IN CONDUCT OF GENERAL ELECTION— NYSC WARNS CORPS MEMBERS

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, has called on corps members who will serve as adhoc staff during the forthcoming elections to ensure neutrality with a high sense of responsibility in discharge their duties

He gave the charge in a message to the closing of orientation course for 2023 “Batch A Stream One” corps members at the Permanent Orientation Camp Eziama-Obaire in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.

Brigadier-General Ahmed advised the corps members to serve the nation with diligence, obey the NYSC bye-laws and integrate with their host communities to enable them to impact positively on the people.

General Ahmed whose address was read by the State Coordinator of the Scheme, Mrs. Rachel Idaewor, appealed to corps employers of corps to not only accept the youths sent to their establishments for primary assignments but to go the extra mile to mentor and equip them for post NYSC life.
