WOMAN FLOGS BABY TO DEATH IN ANAMBRA

The Police Command in Anambra State says it has arrested one woman, Chinelo Udogu, who allegedly flogged a three year old child to death and dumped her body in a bush at Amikwo, Awka South Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the command, Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga, in a statement explained that the victim’s body had been recovered.
He warned members of the public to be cautious when angry and desist from the temptation of going physical when correcting children.
Mr. Ikenga said the case had been transferred to the state Criminal Investigation Department for a discretion investigation.
