ABIA CP READS RIOT ACT TO POLICE PERSONNEL & CRIMINALS

The new commissioner of Police for Abia State Command, Mr. Mustapha Bala, has charged officers and men of the command to be alive to their responsibilities.
Addressing police personnel at the Police Command Headquarters in Umuahia, Mr. Bala charged them to shun acts that might ridicule the command before the public.
He assured them that the command under his watch would do all it could to improve on their welfare, and provide necessary logistics and materials especially for discharge of their duties.
Mr. Bala said that the command would collaborate with sister security agencies towards ensuring a proactive security of lives and property of the citizens of the state.
The Police Commissioner used the occasion to also assured residents of the state of the command commitment in the fight against crime and warned hoodlums to stay away from the state as his men were ever ready to deal decisively with them.
