POLICE RESCUE TWO FROM BANK FIRE IN ONITSHA

The Police operatives in Anambra State have rescued two victims of fire incident at a bank, opposite Ejison Plaza Main Market, Onitsha.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga, in a statement, noted that preliminary information revealed that the fire incident emanated from heat in the generator inside the bank.
According to the police spokesman, the heat generated made customers to scamper for saftey and in the process some of the windows and doors got broken.
Mr. Ikenga said the fire had been put off and the normalcy had to the area.
