The Anambra State Government has assured citizens of its resolve to partner development oriented individuals irrespective of religious or ethnic affiliations in transforming the state economically.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo made this known when a delegation of Muslim leaders paid him a solidarity visit at the Government House, Awka.
Governor Soludo stressed that Anambra people were peace loving and accommodating, reaffirming that the current insecurity in the state was being addressed.
The Governor, while expressing optimism that peace would return to the state, charged members of the Muslim community to remain law abiding and synergize with him to build a liveable and prosperous homeland.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation and Sarkin Hausawa Onitsha, Alhaji Iliyasu Yushau, while pledging their support to Prof. Soludo’s administration, lauded the Governor’s strategic approach in solving security challenges in the area.
