PRESIDENT BUHARI BEGINS 2 DAY VISIT IN EBONYI, INAUGURATES PROJECTS

President Muhammadu Buhari has described a flyover located at the gate of King David University of Medical Sciences Uburu, Ebonyi State, as an engineering master piece.

Inaugurating the infrastructure, President Buhari said though he was not an engineer, the quality of the project was impressive.

President Buhari, who also inaugurated the Medical Unit of King David University of Medical Sciences Uburu and a Cancer Centre, commended the state for associating the Federal Government with its landmark projects.

Governor Umahi had while giving a background for the Medical Unit said he had asked the Federal Government to manage it as part of efforts to end medical tourism outside the shores of the country.

He noted that the Medical Unit was too massive and required the involvement of the Federal Government.

President Muhammadu Buhari is in Ebonyi State for a two day working visit.

The President earlier landed at the residence of Governor David Umahi in Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area at exactly 11:07am in Nigerian Airforce Helicopter with registration number 5N FGI.

He was received on arrival by Governor Umahi alongside the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Chief Francis Nwifuru and some members of Elders Council before inaugurating the projects, include the dualized Uburu-Mpu road.
