Anambra State Government says it will not relent in investing in the education sector.

Governor Chukwuma Soludo stated this while inaugurating a science structure and biology laboratories at Capital City Secondary School, Awka.

Governor Soludo explained that the building and laboratories built through private/public initiative would encourage stem education among students.

He observed that investing in health and education of children would guarantee the future of younger generations in the country and state at large.

The Governor, while saying that government had placed advert for employment of qualified teachers, said that his governmrnt would train and retrain teachers for better service delivery.

He called on public spirited and wealthy individuals to invest in the education of the younger generation.

The Governor, however, expressed satisfaction with the school education anthem, which says no to cultism and miracle examination centres.

The state Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chinwude, while saying that education remained the bed rock of any society, noted that the ministry had rolled out plans to make the state education sector the enviest of all sectors.

An indigene of Awka, Mr. Clem Nwaogbo, who expressed satisfaction with the agenda of the present administration, pledged to continue to partner government in the development of the state and to impact positively on the live of the younger generation.

The students thrilled the audience with cultural dance and match past.
