PASTOR INEGBEDION PLEDGES TO ADDRESS INFRASTRUCTURAL DEFICIENCIES IN FRCN SOUTH-EAST FM STATIONS

The Zonal Director Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN, Enugu Zonal Station, Pastor Emmanuel Inegbedion, says plans are underway to address the infrastructural challenges facing the FM Stations in the Zone.

He made this known during an interactive forum with members of staff of Radio Nigeria Heartland FM Owerri, Imo State.

Pastor Inegbedion explained that part of the strategies adopted in repositioning the zone was blocking financial leakages in the system.

The Zonal Director encouraged members of staff to step up their revenue generation, noting that their welfare was Paramount to his administration.

Pastor Inegbedion stressed he would facilitate the promotion of any staff who performed greatly in revenue generation.

He stressed the need for the workers to be prudent in their spending and avoid any form of financial embarrassment as a result of excessive loans.

The Zonal Director charged the workers to support the General Manager of the station, Mr. Kene Anyanwu, to restore Heartland FM to its former status of number one station in the federation.

The Zonal Director added that every member of staff should be versatile in his or her field to ensure professionalism.

The General Manager, Radio Nigeria Heartland FM Owerri, Mr. Kene Anyanwu commended the Zonal Director for his visit and support in acquiring a new generator set to augument the existing one which, he said, would enhance effective running of the station.

He emphasised that he had increased the revenue generation of the station in less than six months of his assumption to duty as the General Manager of the station.

Mr. Anyanwu commended his members of staff for their dedication and doggedness in restoring the signal strength of the station to serve Imo audience and beyond.
