COVID-19: CASES RISE TO SEVEN IN EBONYI STATE
Ebonyi State has recorded sixth and seventh cases of the Coronavirus disease. Governor David Umahi announced this in Abakaliki.
Though details of the infected persons were not given, the Governor emphasised that they were returnees intercepted at the boundary areas.
He called on the people of the state to monitor their communities to ensure that no one sneaked into the state undetected.
According to Chief Umahi, there is no case of Community transmission as all cases of COVID-19 in the state were returnees from Coronavirus Epicentre States.
He urges all residents of the state to remain calm and obey regulations and all precautionary measures adopted to fight the scourge.
