Sensitive Materials set ablaze in Ezza North LGA.

INEC Registration Area Centre at Community Secondary School Okposi Umuoghara in Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State has been set ablaze by unknown arsonists.

Both sensitive and non sensitive materials kept at the Registration Area Centre were burnt.

Radio Nigeria gathered that the attackers shot sporadically before igniting fire on the building by 2:15 am this morning.

Although INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Professor Godswill Obioma did not give details of the incident, he pointed out that he had escalated the report to INEC Headquarters Abuja.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Loveth Odah said she got a call about the incident and was rushing to police Headquarters to ascertain measures taken to that effect.
